ESE Department KP Notification Closing Schools -New List of Districts

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Elementary & Secondary Education has issued a Notification on 07-04-2021 in connection with ESE Department KP Notification Closing Schools with New List of Districts. The details are as under:

In continuation of this department’s notification of even number dated 11.03.2021, 16.03.2021, 24.03.2021, and 29.03.2021 and in pursuance of the decisions taken in the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) meeting held on 06.03.2021, the following instructions are issued for strict compliance:

List of Districts Where Education Institutions Closed

All Public and Private educational institutions including cadet colleges, model schools, mandarins, academies, and tuition centers shall remain closed for classes from grade pre-1 to grade-8 till April 27, 2021, and the classes from grade-9 to grade-12 till April 18, 2021, in the following Districts:

Peshawar
Nowshera
Charsada
Mardan
Swabi
Kohat
Swat
Malakand
Dir Lower
Dir Upper
Buner
Bajaur
Khyber
Shangla
Abbottabad
Haripur
Chitral Upper
Chitral Lower
Mansehra
DI Khan

Classes in Staggered Fashion

The Public and private educational institutions including cadet colleges, model, schools, madaris, academies, and tuition centers in the Districts of Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsada, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, Swat, Malakand, Dir Lower, Dir Upper, Buner, Bajaur, Khyber, Shangla, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chitral Upper, Chitral Lower, Mansehra, DI Khan, and Bannu government allows to commence classes from grade-9 to grade-12 in a straggled fashion, such that the students they will allow to attend classes no more than three days a week under strict SOPs already notified.

The districts wherein educational institutions have not been closed because of the COVID-19 situation will resume classes after spring break.

The COVID-19 situation is being monitored on regular basis and the afore-mentioned instruction s will be reviewed in consultation with Provincial Health Authorities and NCOC.
