Notification Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2023 by KPK Government

Notification of Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays 2023 by KPK Government, Administration Department has been issued on 14-04-2023. According to the Notification, there are 6 days of holidays with effect from 21st April 2023 to 25th April 2023 for the residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The details are as under:

The government of KPK issues a notification regarding the holidays of the Eid-ul-Fitr celebration in April 2023. The government has decided to keep all public and private institutions and departments closed during these holidays. The holidays will start from 21st April till 25th April 2023.

                 The government of KPK declares 21-04-2023 to 25-04-2023 as a public holiday on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Eid is an Islamic festival that is celebrated worldwide. Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. The government also supports all people working in public and private institutions. The declared holidays are for all employees in the public and private sectors. All educational and administrative and other departments will be closed during these holidays.

KPK Government issued a summary regarding religious festivals if Eid-ul-fitr.  Eid-ul-Fitr is especially significant because it marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. For the celebrations of this festival with unity and peace KPK Government announces the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays.

The competent Authority is pleased to order the closing of all institutions and departments during these holidays.

As Muslims celebrate the festival of  Eid-ul-Fitr not only in KPK but all around the world. Celebrating the end of Ramadan with the feast is significant to Eid-ul-Fitr.  Members of the Muslim community make preparations for this festival almost a week before. They not only dress up for the good of Eid but,  they also decorate their homes and congratulate their friends and family members. Muslims also make charitable donations on this day for the needy. one such donation is Fitrana and there is also Zakat made before the end of Ramadan.
