Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department issued a Notification on 30-10-2023 in connection with the Clarification Calculation of Marks for E Transfer Merit. The details are as under:
Clarification Calculation of Marks for E-Transfer Merit
higher education department under the government of Punjab issued a notification on 30th October 2023. The department issued the Notification in connection with the notification number SO(EF- LIJE- transfer 2023) in continuation of this department’s notification of an even number dated 828th September 2023. According to the notification entry higher education department clarifies the point mentioned in Para 3 serial No. 3.
Calculation of Marking Criteria
On the basis of new instructions and notification the marking criteria for each served at a place other than district of domicile depend upon the current place of posting.
Calculation of Merit Marks
In order to calculate the merit marks per year maximum of up to 10 marks the authority will count the score up to two decimal places. Partial marks are also calculated as 2 /365 for each day served in the district other than that of the domicile.
Clarifications
Regarding this, the higher education department clarifies that if the candidate has applied for each transfer to his or her domicile district from other than the domicile district. Then the candidate or she will be awarded the said marks. It is further clarified that in intra-district transfers the application will not be awarded the said marks.
