Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Higher Education Archives and Libraries Department issued a Notification on 21-11-2023 in connection with the Promotion Librarian to Senior Librarian (Male) KP. The details are as under:

According to the Notification, the Department promoted 13 Librarians BPS-17 to Sr Librarians BPS-18 of the college cadre.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister upgrades thirteen (13) Librarians of the Higher Education Department. Higher Education Archives & Libraries Department KPK issues notification regarding promotion of these Librarians. The CM, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa promotes this Librarian on the recommendation of the Provincial Selection Board in meetings held on 19.09.2023. Here are more details.
CM, KPK Promotes Male Librarian (BPS-17) to the Post of Senior Librarian (BPS-18)
The CM, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a meeting held on 19.09.2023 promotes Male Librarians. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa promotes the as recommended by the Selection Board of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The number of 13 Librarians (Male) of Cadre College are getting promotion to next higher level. Here is the list of the employees getting promoted from the Librarian to the Senior Librarian.

All the above-mentioned Librarians (Male) shall get Promotion to the post of Senior Librarian (BPS-18) These officers shall be on probation for a specific period of time.
Probation Duration
The officer on promotion will remain on Probation for a period of one year as per notification. They shall be on probation for 1 year in terms of Section-6(2) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Civil Servant (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1989. The Probation is extendable for another year with specific orders of the Appointing Authority within 2 months of the expiry of the first Probation period.
The posting/transfer notification of Male librarians who are getting Promotion to the next higher level shall be issued later by the authority.
