Government of the Punjab, School Education Department issued a Notification on 08-01-2024 in connection with Time Barred Science Teaching Allowance SSTs / SSEs / Headmasters. The details are as under:
I am directed to refer to the subject hired above and to enclose herewith a copy of letter no. so (s) 83/2021 (VOL-ii) dated 01.01.2024 received from the section officer (school), finance department regarding the time-barred case of MST. SHEHER BANO. SST, GOVT GIRS high school Maria Jhelum was referred it is informed by the finance department that till now Secondary School Teachers and Headmaster/headmistress of secondary school have been allowed the benefit of science teaching allowance it is not admissible to any other category of teacher including seconded school educators (SSE). This is informed for strict compliance
I am directed to request that further necessary action kindly be taken.
Finance Department Punjab Notification
Punjab Govt has already issued the Notification of Science Teaching Allowance @ 600/PM for Sc Teachers. The government of the Punjab Finance Department also issued a Notification on 01-01-2023 regarding the Time Barred Sanction case of Mst Shehar Bano SST. The administrative Department is informed that SSTs holding Bachelors Degree in Basic /Natural Science (Including Mathematics) and teaching basic/natural sciences were allowed Scheinec Teaching Allowance @ 100/- in terms of Para-12 of this department’s Notification dated 25-08-1983. The benefit was extended to Headmasters / Headmistress of Secondary Schools subject to the condition that they had a degree of B.Sc or MSc and teach the science subjects.
