School Education Department has again announced 6 Days Further Extension Winter Holidays Punjab Schools. The schools will again open on 13-01-2020.
It is stated that on 5th January 2020, it was tweeted by the Punjab Minister of Education that there will be no further extension in winter holidays in Punjab Schools. Punjab schools opened on 6th January 2020. But just on the same day Minister of Education again announced that due to severe weather conditions in the province of Punjab and foretasted very low temperature in the province, the winter vacations in Punjab province have been extended upto 12th January 2020.
According to the forecast there are expected much rains in Punjab. There are also chances to reach the temperature to Zero and even minus at some place of the province. The Minister is concerned about the health of the school children. He wants to save the children from cold weather conditions. That is a good step.
The daily Dunya News broke this news at about 1330 Hrs on 6th January 2020. In this regard Notification has also been issued by the School Education Department Punjab SED. According to the Notification all public and private schools will be closed.
