Government of Sindh, Universities, Boards Department has issued a Notification on 22-05-2021 in connection with Extension Closure Educational Institutions in the province.
Further Closure Educational Institutions in Sindh
In pursuance of the Notifications issued by the Home Department and Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh regarding the devasting spread of COVID-19 in the Province and in continuation of this department’s Notification of even Number dated 27.04.2021 and with approval of the Competent Authority the following instructions are notified for strict compliance:
Strict Instructions
- Physical classes of all the public & private Universities, Boards, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Human Resource and Research Development Board (BBSHRRDB), and STEVTA functioning under the administrative control of Universities & Boards Department, Government of Sindh shall continue to remain suspended will further orders.
- The Teaching facilities will conduct online classes/activities to save the loss of academic time of students.
- The head of the attached departments may call essentially required staff with strict COVID-19 SOPs to assist in the official assignment on a need basis.
Compliance of the Orders
Additionally, the instructions conveyed by the Home Department and Services, General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh shall strictly comply in letter & spirit.
Punjab, AJK, KPK, and Federal Government have already notified of the closing of schools till further orders. In some districts, they have opened the schools since 24-05-2021. They have adopted a staggered method for the same.
