Government of the Punjab, Higher Education Department has issued a Notification on 29-05-2021 in connection with the Closing of Colleges in Khanewal and Rahim Yar Khan till Further Orders.
Closing of Colleges in Khanewal and Rahim Yar Khan
In continuation of this Department’s notification of even number dated 21.05.2021, all Public & Private colleges in Khanewal and Rahim Yar Khan Districts will remain closed till further orders.
Colleges in all remaining districts will open on staggered attendance basis w.e.f. 31.05.2021.
All the concerned authorities shall ensure the observance and compliance of COVID-19 SOPs in letter and spirit.
All concerned authorities will further ensure the vaccinations of all teaching and non-teaching staff for COVID-19 (all age groups) till 5th June 2021.
Note: The status of opening and closure of colleges varies on the basis of positivity rate (above 8%) issued by the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department.
