Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Finance Department (Regulation Wing) has issued a letter on 01-12-2021 in connection with Rejection to Increase M.Phil Allowance in KPK. The details are as under:
Rejection to Increase M.Phil Allowance in KPK
I am directed to refer to your letter No. FMIU/FD/PCP/Complaints/2020-21/IS08179183 dated 23.11.2021 on the subject noted above and to state that each province has its own sets of rules which are based on the specific needs and available financial resources of the province, hence the request of the applicant cannot be entertained at this stage.
Ph.D. allowance is Rs 10,000 per head to all employees of Pakistan.
M.Phil allowance in KPK, Sindh, and in Federal is Rs 2500/- per month.
M.Phil allowance in Punjab and in Balochistan is Rs 5000 per head per month to employees of Punjab and Balochistan.
MPhil and PHD allowances should be admissible only to those who are in teaching or academic research profession. Every other person in any government department nowadays gets MPhil and PHD degree by any means to get the allowances. Their contribution to research is zero. If you take a real test of these people in their field of study, most will fail. This is my challenge.
MPhil allowance is allowed in KP. Is MS allowance allowed in KP? If yes, I need the notification or the procedure there of. Thanks
